Refurbed - Trade-In Terms & Conditions
📜 1. Device Ownership
By selling or mailing a device to Refurbed, you confirm that:
- You are the legal owner of the device(s).
- The device(s) are not stolen, lost, or under any financial agreement.
- You have the legal right to sell and transfer the device(s).
📦 2. Device Condition & Inspection
Devices must match the condition selected during booking. We will inspect each device upon arrival or pickup. If the device differs from what was submitted, we will issue a revised quote which you may accept or reject. If rejected, the device can be returned at your expense.
🔒 3. Data & Activation Lock Responsibility
It is your responsibility to:
- Back up and erase all data prior to sending or pickup.
- Remove iCloud or Google accounts to avoid activation locks.
Devices with active locks will be rejected or returned at your expense. Refurbed is not liable for data breaches if the device is sent with personal content intact.
🚚 4. Shipping & Delivery Responsibility
You must package your device securely before mailing. Refurbed is not responsible for any damage or loss during transit unless the package is physically received and signed for. Use tracking and insurance for added protection.
🎥 5. Proof of Packaging
We recommend recording a short video of yourself packaging your device. This protects both parties if the package is received empty or damaged. We are not liable for missing contents without proof of inclusion.
💰 6. Quotes, Payment & Validity
Quotes are based on your submitted information. Final payments are made after inspection. Payments are processed within 24 hours of approval and are valid for 7 days from booking unless otherwise noted.
🚫 7. Rejected Devices
- Blacklisted or stolen devices
- Counterfeit or heavily damaged items
- Activation-locked or non-resettable devices
Rejected devices will be returned at your expense upon request.
🔄 8. Cancellations & Returns
You may cancel your trade-in before shipping. Once we receive and pay for your device, the transaction is final. Declined revised quotes require payment for return shipping.
